Larabar - healthy snacks
Larabar is a division of Humm Foods, Inc, of Denver, Colorado, and produces vegan snack bars that are gluten-free, sugar-free, gmo-free, dairy-free, soy-free, unprocessed, and OU kosher. The only ingredients used in making Larabar snack bars are fruits, nuts, and natural seasonings. Larabar's inventor, Lara Merriken, came up with the idea for the snack bar in 2000 while hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and founded Humm Foods in 2002 after perfecting her recipe. Larabar snack bars have become a market leader, prompting General Mills to purchase Larabar in June 2008.
