Teva Mehadrin  - Shkeidimon - Almond Butter

Teva Mehadrin's Shkeidimon is made of 100% almond butter, and is produced from California almonds, carefully selected and mechanically peeled from their thin shell without the use of any chemicals. 

In the preparation of Shkeidimon, the almonds are ground using the ancient method of millstones and a cold press. Blades are not used because slicing into the almonds causes a chemical reaction harmful to the almonds. The ancient method preserves the natural state of the almonds, such that the nutritional value and sweet taste are retained. 

Shkeidimon almond spread is recommended for pregnant women and helps enrich breast milk for breastfeeding mothers. As a supplement, this all-natural almond paste strengthens and energizes both adults and children. Shkeidimon makes for an excellent addition to baby porridge, can serve as a milk substitute for adults, children, and even babies, who are allergic to cow's milk and soy.

Suggestions for use: 

To make almond milk, add 1-2 teaspoons to a glass of water and stir vigorously. 
As a coffee whitener, add 1-2 teaspoons per cup/mug (recommended to use decaffeinated coffee) 
For a delicious meal or snack, spread on bread or crackers. 
Can be used as a filling with pastries and other rich foods.
Can be mixed with other spreads.
