The formula's ingredients:

Creatine monohydrate
Creatine is synthesized in the body from the amino acids arginine, glycine and methionine. 95% of the total amount of creatine in the body (about 120 gram per person on average) is found in skeletal muscle. One-third of this amount is present as free creatine and the rest as the high-energy compound creatine phosphate.

Skeletal muscle has the ability to accumulate creatine at levels several times higher than obtainable by food intake or by the body`s own synthesis. The rise in serum creatine concentrations after taking creatine monohydrate is followed by increased skeletal muscle creatine levels and improved muscle strength.

Creatine monohydrate is the only form of creatine that induces increased muscle strength and a rise in lean body mass and tissue creatine levels.

A high concentration of muscle creatine has the following advantages for the athlete:

  • Delayed appearance of fatigue
  • Accelerated recovery after effort
  • Increased performance results from short and intensive efforts

The most significant improvement in performance levels after taking creatine can be observed after efforts requiring a high availability of creatine phosphate.

The types of efforts most markedly influenced by creatine consumption are:

HMB
HMB (hydroxy methyl butyrate) is a metabolite of the essential amino acid L-leucine, one of the branched amino acids used at increased rate during physical activity.

As opposed to the anabolic hormones, which enhance muscle mass by means of protein synthesis, the anti-catabolic compound HMB acts by reducing protein breakdown and muscle cell destruction, processes which accompany all high-intensity training. It seems that HMB acts more efficiently in athletes performing high-intensity training as compared to persons training at low intensity the more the level of training increases (frequency, scope and intensity), the more intense becomes catabolic activity (muscle tissue destruction accompanying any high-intensity training), thereby reducing the anabolic effect of the training.

The anti-catabolic effect of HMB strengthens the anabolic effect, enabling the athlete to carry on with the demanding training program and, in addition, to obtain positive results in the development of strength and muscle mass.

L-taurine
Taurine is a non-essential amino acid believed to imitate the action of insulin, i.e., it stimulates the uptake of amino acids and sugar in muscle cells.
Similar to creatine, taurine stimulates water uptake by the cell, causing an increased rate of protein synthesis (anabolic effect).
Taurine is believed to be of prime importance in sports, because any stressful situation, especially a physical effort, reduces its body pool.
Since the body is unable to synthesize the acid at the required rate, it is important to add it from external sources.

Magnesium
After potassium, magnesium is present in the cell at the second highest concentration. 60%-65% of the body`s magnesium is found in the bones and the rest in muscle cells.

Magnesium is involved in approximately 300 enzymatic reactions in the body, including: glycolysis, Krebs cycle, production of creatine phosphate, synthesis of nucleic acids, reactivation of amino acids, cardiac and smooth muscle contraction, production of cyclic synthesis. protein AMP and the most important process for the strength sports athlete

Magnesium plays a significant role in creatine metabolism, since it is a cofactor of the enzyme creatine kinase, which catalyzes the synthesis of creatine phosphate from creatine.

Creatine supplements became popular and proved their efficacy. Creatine phosphate is involved in the conversion of ADP to ATP, which requires magnesium and improves anaerobic endurance.

Creatine phosphate has a much higher phosphate transfer potential than ATP and therefore is of central importance in the regeneration of ATP during intensive activity.

Sugars

It is known that glucose and other monosaccharides induce increased secretion of insulin, an anabolic hormone that plays a central role in creatine uptake by muscle.
Supplementation with carbohydrates such as: glucose, dextrose, sucrose or maltose causes increased insulin secretion, facilitating the uptake of creatine by muscle cells.

Scientific evidence for the advantages of using creatine and HMB Research has shown that daily creatine supplementation at very high doses (20-30 gram creatine per day) for 5 days caused a significant increase in creatine and creatine phosphate concentrations in muscle.

In vegetarians, whose nutritional creatine intake is very small, the ability to absorb creatine is very high as compared to meat-consuming athletes.

The muscle is capable of taking up more creatine if during the period of supplementation the athletes engage in physical efforts characterized by short periods of intensive activity.

A number of studies measured the effect of creatine monohydrate consumption on muscle strength and mass.
It was found that after 5-7 days of a creatine load of 0.3 gram per kg bodyweight per day, performance levels during high-intensity training improved (increased work load) and that bodyweight was increased by half to one and a half kilogram.

Most of the increase in muscle volume and strength occurs in the first month of supplementation. It appears that muscle mass in maintained as long as creatine supplementation continues. Stopping creatine supplementation causes a gradual reduction in muscle volume and after a month creatine levels return to their pre-supplementation values. The enhancement in muscle strength and volume, caused by an increased amount of intercellular fluid, also disappears in the same period. Increased muscle mass obtained by improved training levels, however, is sustained.

Recently it has been demonstrated that HMB supplementation, together with strength training, helps to improve strength and to enlarge lean body mass in trained and untrained people who carried out a training program for several weeks.

A 7-weeks study of professional football players demonstrated that muscle mass and strength of the participants in the experimental group, who received 3 grams of HMB daily, improved significantly compared to the players in the control group, who received placebo.

Studies performed on long-distance runners taking HMB indicated a significant reduction in muscle damage parameters (the enzymes creatine kinase and lactate dehydrogenase) after a 20 km run.
