Gramse's main goal is to maintain a healthy, top line growth as well as strengthen its local presence. Company History - 1938 - Mr. Walter Gramse, a young immigrant from Germany, opened a pharmacy called Mazor (Hebrew for cure) in Ramat-Gan, where he formulated products that were needed in the Israeli market.
- 1963 - Mr. Gramse established the Gramse Company and began importing pharmaceuticals from Europe and the USA. The company gained the recognition of major HMOs and hospitals.
- 1998 - Gramse's shares were acquired by Balgay Holdings Ltd., a company in the field of biotechnology and industrial enzymes.
- 2000 - Gramse Pharmaceuticals moved to its new headquarters in the industrial zone for advanced technologies in Yokneam, northern Israel.
- 2004, the company received approval to import Oxytocin, a pharmaceutical product for hospitals.
- 2005 - Gramse was granted approval to import two new food supplements, Alpenkraft and Coenzyme Q-10.
