Properties and Uses
Kerem Organic Coconut Oil is cold-pressed from whole organic coconuts, preserving all its natural benefits. Below 25 °C, it is solid and white; above 25 °C, it turns transparent, liquid, and takes on a pale yellow hue.
Culinary Use
Unrefined coconut oil is perfect for cooking, baking, light frying, and simmering, keeping its natural flavor and nutritional benefits intact. For recipes requiring high heat, we recommend using grapeseed oil, which is better suited for higher temperatures.
Cosmetic Use
Coconut oil deeply nourishes and hydrates both skin and hair, penetrating the hair shaft and skin to reduce dryness. It strengthens hair, minimizes breakage and split ends, and adds shine and softness. It soothes the scalp, helps with dryness and mild dandruff, and supports overall skin and hair health.
It also improves skin condition, helping with dryness, flaking, and minor cracks. The oil is hypoallergenic and can be safely used on skin, including children’s, as long as there is no individual sensitivity.
